Welcome to the official DLP General Information page for DLP Lighting Services. We provide a rental agreement, insurance requirements, and payment terms for renting grip and lighting equipment in Los Angeles.
Rental Agreement
Our rental agreement is a binding contract for renting any of our production equipment. Consequently, you can download the full agreement in PDF format here.
Rental Period
The minimum rental period is one day. You must return equipment by 11:00 AM to avoid additional daily charges. In addition, we offer customized long-term rental rates upon request.
Insurance Requirements
Customers must carry a one-million-dollar liability insurance policy that covers the full replacement cost of all rented gear. Specifically, you must provide proof of insurance via a Certificate of Insurance listing DLP Lighting Services as the loss payee. Liability Terms
DLP Lighting Services assumes no liability for claims or expenses incurred during your use of our equipment. Furthermore, we invite all clients to inspect gear before accepting delivery.
Loss or Damage Policy
We send out all DLP equipment in excellent working order and expect you to return it in the same condition. Therefore, the renter assumes full responsibility for all repair or replacement costs. You should return burned-out globes so we do not charge a replacement fee. However, if a globe breaks or is missing, we will charge the renter for the replacement.
Payment Terms
We accept company checks, cash, ACH transfers, and major credit cards. We establish flexible payment terms for local companies, while out-of-state clients operate on a C.O.D. basis.
